Sous Chef - Derby
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
- Leading and inspiring the kitchen team in the Head Chef's absence
- Creating and preparing high-quality dishes with a focus on taste and presentation
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and maintaining high hygiene standards
- Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs
- Contributing to menu planning and development, bringing new ideas and innovation
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-paced kitchen environment
- Strong culinary skills with a passion for cooking and creativity
- Excellent leadership and teamwork abilities
- Good understanding of health and safety and food hygiene practices
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
