Hello, I'm Andy Rogers, the founder of PFR Recruitment. My journey in recruitment began 22 years ago, much like many others – I stumbled into it by chance. However, from the moment I placed my first candidate, Phillipa, in a 16-hour a week contract that meant the world to her, I knew I had found my calling. The ability to make such a positive impact on someone's life was incredibly fulfilling.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with various recruitment agencies. However, I began to notice a troubling trend: agencies were losing the personal, people-focused approach that makes recruitment special. Technology and profit margins were taking precedence over the human element, turning the philosophy from "people over profits" to "profits over people."

That’s when I decided it was time to return to basics and create an agency that truly understands the people who make the business – clients, candidates, and employees. PFR Recruitment was born out of a desire to reinstate the personal touch in recruitment and to ensure that we never lose sight of what’s most important: the people.

At PFR Recruitment, we use technology to enhance our efficiency, but we never let it replace the human connection. We are dedicated to providing a people-focused approach, where every interaction counts and every individual is valued.

Additionally, I wanted to create something that gives back to the community. Through our Permanent Placement Pledge, we aim to change the lives of many who have been unemployed for more than three months. For every permanent placement, we provide support such as interview outfits, CV polishing, and coaching to those in need.

In essence, PFR Recruitment is about using technology to be more efficient while maintaining a strong human connection and making a positive impact on the community. We are committed to changing lives, one placement at a time, with a truly people-focused approach.
